Day 1: Panorama Route, South AfricaLeaving behind Johannesburg you will head through the province of Mpumalanga, with its breathtaking vistas of the Lowveld. Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and Bourke’s Luck Potholes will be some of today’s highlights on your African safari tour. You will spend the evening camping just outside of Kruger National Park. Lunch, Dinner. Day 2 & 3: Kruger National ParkYou will get up early and visit a wildlife rehabilitation centre for an educational experience before you enter the Kruger National Park. The next 2 days of your safari in Africa are spent exploring the southern part of this vast reserve. You stand a good chance of sighting Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo - Africa's famed Big Five. Enjoy optional activities such as a Night Game Drive or a Dawn Game Walk on your safari in South Africa. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Day 4 & 5: Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, SwazilandToday you will leave the Kruger Park and cross the border to Swaziland. There is an opportunity during your visit to Swaziland for curio shopping as you stop off to browse through the markets. The next 2 nights of your safari in Africa are spent inside the Mlilwane Game Reserve. Enjoy optional activities such as mountain biking, hiking, horse riding and game viewing. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Day 6: iSimangaliso Wetland Park, St Lucia, South AfricaLeaving Swaziland, you will travel through the subtropical region towards the Indian Ocean. You will spend the afternoon of your safari in South Africa exploring the iSimangaliso Wetland Park in St Lucia, a World Heritage Site. Enjoy optional activities such as a Hippo and Crocodile boat cruise in St Lucia. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Day 7: Durban, KwaZulu-NatalYou will journey to Durban where you can explore this vibrant city, home to the largest Indian population outside of India and where Ghandi spent most of his youth. It is possible to go out this evening to try one of Durban’s famous curry restaurants or some of the local clubs and bars. On your African safari tour you can enjoy optional activities such as dinner and a night out in the city. Breakfast, Lunch. |
