An integral part of most of our Botswana tours is the flights between the lodges. That's part of the excitement of visiting these bush lodges, is the safari from the air!
With many private air charter services dedicated to the various circuits, your trip on a single engine Cessna 206, 207 or 210, or even the twin engine Britten Norman Islander, will be an unforgettable one as you wing it across the Delta.
There is a 20kg luggage limit applicable to the charter flights between safari camps. The limit applies to the total weight for both luggage and hand luggage/camera equipment. Bags have to be soft sided.
Large suitcases and rigid luggage cannot be transported in the aircraft.
Restriction Enforcement: In the event that you will be carrying more than the restricted limit, you should advise us at the time of booking so that arrangements can be made for the extra transport or storage, and cost thereof.
The vehicles at the bush lodges are either open Toyota Landcruisers carrying a maximum of 7 people or Land Rover game-viewing vehicles carrying a maximum of 9 people. All Landcruisers have individual bucket seats while the Land Rovers have bench seats.
Each vehicle has a canvas roof to provide shade, and there is ample storage space for cameras, binoculars etc. The Landrovers at Chobe Game Lodge are equipped with 12V power points for your cam recorders.
