The Masai Mara is home to a great concentration of animals and is widely recognised for its exceptional game viewing. The reserve is an extension of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem and hosts a magnificent migration of Wildebeest every year. The scenery is breathtaking with endless plains and abundant wildlife to see on a Kenya safari.
Nyumbu Camp offers game drives in open-sided customised 4x4 Land cruiser vehicles with roof hatches. Animals that can be seen include Elephant, Giraffe, prides of Lion and, thousands of Impala, Topi and Gazelle. There are around 450 bird species with about 57 birds of prey. Immigrant birdlife can also be seen.
The annual migration of at least a million Wildebeest and other game move up from the Serengeti plains to the Mara in search of water and grasses.
