Makokola Retreat is located at the southern end of Lake Malawi, and has the added bonus of having its own landing strip, only a short stroll from this Malawi lodge.
Flights to and from Lilongwe are only half an hour, making your safari in Malawi manageable and hassle-free. A charter company will offer you regular direct flights from Lilongwe International Airport or Blantyre International Airport to the lakeshore. Flying time is approximately 30 minutes from either airport.
The Retreat is well connected to Malawi’s main cities by national tar roads. Please speak to one of our consultants about road transfers to and from The Makokola Retreat. Rental cars can also be arranged at the airports.
