Location of Onguma Bush Camp in Etosha

Situated in the Onguma Private game Reserve within the greater Etosha National Park, this Namibia safari is ideally positioned to enjoy a wildlife vacation.

The eastern side of the Etosha National Park is home to Onguma Game Reserve. The reserve consists of savannah, bushveld and dry pan landscapes. An abundance of 30 animal and 300 bird species roam the reserve freely while predators, such as Lion Hyena, are spotted in mysterious sightings.

How to get there

This Namibia safari bush camp can be reached via a self-drive in a two-wheel drive vehicle on good roads. Namibia’s lengthy roads are an asset to an African road trip.

Self-drive from Windhoek

  • Take the B1 from Windhoek to Tsumeb, and continue on towards Ondangwa.
  • Approximately 70 km from Tsumeb, turn left onto the C38 towards the Namutoni Gate of Etosha National Park.
  • Approximately 500m before the park gate, there will be an Onguma sign on your right.
  • Turn right and drive approximately 9 km to the camp.
  • Air transfer

Onguma Game Reserve has its own private bush airstrip at which guests can arrive or depart. An additional road transfer of 20 minutes in an open safari vehicle will deliver guests to the Namibia safari lodge.
