The mobile camp is pitched in various remote parts of the 350 000 acres of land in northern Tanzania. Singita Grumeti is situated adjacent to the Serengeti National Park, adding credit to its African authenticity. The camp intercepts the path of the wildebeest migratory route, providing an up-close encounter of this natural phenomenon.
You're likely to spot cheetahs, wildebeest, black rhinos, Maasai giraffes, lions, elephants and leopards to name a few. Don't be discouraged by the rainy season as the animals emerge from the lush landscape in a revitalized realm of activity. Game viewing can be done throughout the year, regardless of the season.
The great wildebeest migration occurs annually but its exact occurrence is dependent on the weather and other environmental factors. The majestic animals make their way through the Serengeti and eventually end up at the Serengeti National Park. With the position of Singita Explore Mobile Tented Camp on the migratory route, it acts as a beneficial spot to witness the migration.
