Nestled in a Zambia wildlife sanctuary, Luangwa River Camp benefits from pristine views of the Luangwa River and an abundance of wildlife.

Zambia is a landlocked country situated in southern Africa. Despite this, the Luangwa River offers seasonal relief to Luangwa River Camp and boating safaris to its guests. The country consists of forests, meandering rivers and an abundance of wildlife. The South Luangwa National Park is no different.

Marking the end of the Great Rift Valley, the park is home to the meandering Luangwa River and its various vegetation including ox bow lagoons, woodlands and vats plains. The lodge is positioned in the Luangwa Wafwa area, known for its abundant wildlife.

Getting there

By air

Flights from Lusaka, Zambia to Mfuwe take 1 hour 30 minutes. Mfuwe can be reached via a 1 hour flight from Lilongwe, Malawi.

By road

Mfuwe Airport can be reached during a 1 hour road transfer. Road transfers entertain guests with a peek into the local village and some game viewing.
