Day 4: Livingstone

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip where you will board a flight to Livingstone Airport. Your final destination will be The Royal Livingstone Hotel, situated on an island in the middle of the Zambezi River.

After settling into your suite, you will have free time to explore the hotel's facilities and to partake in activities offered outside the hotel. For those who wish to maintain a healthy lifestyle, the Royal Livingstone Gym is fully-equipped with the latest fitness equipment.

The main attraction in Zambia is, of course, the famous Victoria Falls. The majestic waterfall can be reached via a short 15-minute walk from the hotel. Guests will enjoy unlimited free access to the Falls through a private entrance exclusive to the hotel.

Optional activities can be enjoyed in close proximity to the hotel and options include a range of adventure and game viewing activities. Day 5: Livingstone

Get ready for an action-packed day of new experiences after a warm cup of coffee at the lodge. Experience nature like never before during two preplanned safari activities. Your morning activity, a half day elephant interaction, will end with a full English breakfast.

The 4-hour activity takes you on an elephant-back safari, escorted by trained experts. Your guide will brief you on the behavior of these gentle giants before saddling you up on one of the African elephants. Walk within a herd as you view wildlife ranging from small bird species to the larger animals like lions and buffalos and giraffes.

Return to the lodge for a siesta before being collected for your afternoon activity. A guided tour of the Victoria Falls is an experience that will be engraved in your memory for a lifetime. Imagine strolling along the edge of this cascading waterfall as your guide explains the fascinating history of how it was discovered by famous explorer, David Livingstone, and introduced to the world. The refreshing splashes of the Falls can be felt as you follow your guide, who will introduce you to the unique fauna and flora in the areas surrounding the Falls. Return to the lodge for an evening of pure relaxation during an alfresco dinner and an early night's rest.

Day 6: Chobe

Adventurous travellers can enjoy an adrenaline-pumping bungee jump off the Victoria Falls Bridge into the Batoka Gorge, or white river rafting on the Zambezi River.

An afternoon game drive in a specialized safari vehicle in the Chobe National Park is the ideal way to get acquainted with the fauna and flora of this wildlife-rich region. Alternatively, a sundowner cruise on the Chobe River will grant you spectacular vistas teeming with wildlife, and a refreshing sundowner cocktail.

The lodge offers a range of optional treatments at the Health and Beauty Spa. Following a relaxing session, visit the curio shop where you can purchase some hand carved souvenirs to take home

Fishing on the Chobe River is an exciting activity that may result in a catch of the teeming tiger and bream fish. Bird watching can also take place from the boat and due to the prolific list of bird species, spotting numerous birds should come naturally.

A water-based game viewing experience can be enjoyed from a tender boat on the river. See the wildlife roaming on the banks of the river up close as your guide steers the boat closer to the shore. This is an opportune time for keen photographers to capture their Chobe River safari.

The Namibian banks of the Chobe River are transformed into a cultural fiesta as the locals set up markets displaying handmade crafts in the nearby local villages. Interact with the unique culture as you pick up commonly-spoken phrases and rituals.
