Mara Intrepids Camp in the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya is situated close to the site of the famous BBC documentary, Big Cat Diaries.

Mara Intrepids Camp is set close to one of the world's most amazing spectacles, the Great Wildebeest Migration. Situated close to the Mara River, this Kenya safari camp is in close proximity to the migration crossing during July and August each year.

This Masai Mara camp in Kenya is situated in one of the world's premier game viewing sanctuaries. The Masai Mara is home to a diverse array of animals, including a large concentration of plains game, elephant, rhino, buffalo and all big cats. In 2004, 75% of the footage of the BBC's famous Big Cat Diaries was shot near the camp.

How to get to Mara Intrepids Camp

Mara Intrepids is located 298 kilometres from Nairobi, making it a 6 -hour drive from Kenya's capital. An all-weather airstrip enables guests to be at the camp within 45 minutes of leaving Nairobi. This Masai Mara camp also has a private airstrip situated a short 3-minute drive from the campsite, providing easy transportation for air transfers.
