Masai Mara Game Reserve

The Masai Mara Game Reserve is one of the premier wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Spot a pride of lion stalking its prey, a gazelle drinking at a waterhole, a cheetah and her cubs or majestic wildebeest grazing on the open savannah. Located in south western Kenya, the Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.

The Masai Mara is home to a spectacular concentration of wildlife, including the famous Big Five, hippo, cheetah, hartebeest, gazelle, topi, antelope, zebra and many other plains game. The Masai Mara also prides itself on having the largest population of lion, as well as a profuse birdlife. Game viewing in the Masai Mara is exceptional and rewarding, with regular sightings of the rare black rhino, buffalo, zebra, Roan Antelope, gazelle and numerous big cats.

Getting to Sarova Mara Game Camp

By air

An hour flight from Nairobi, and a two-hour flight from Mombasa, will deliver guests to the camp airstrip. From there, a 20-minute road transfer will deliver guests to Sarova Mara Game Camp.

By road

Driving to this Masai Mara safari game camp will take approximately 5 hours from Nairobi.
