Kasaka River Lodge provides elegant and luxurious Zambia accommodation catering for everyone's needs. Guests can choose from luxury chalets, a family lodge and a romantic honeymoon suite.
The lodge’s main living area and the viewing deck is the ideal spot for watching the free-roaming wildlife in and around the river. Other shared facilities include a bar area, dining area and a swimming pool.
Each chalet is provided with fresh towels and bathrobes. Guests will find a range of toiletries in the en-suite bathrooms. Guests have the option to stay on the tame side, with manicured gardens and close to the swimming pool, or the wild side connected with overhead walkways to allow the wildlife to pass unobstructed.
Kasaka River Lodge has 8 classic canvas tented chalets decorated in authentic African style and each has its own en-suite bathroom. Each chalet has a choice between a king-size bed and two single beds. A wooden deck leads guests out into views of the untamed bush.
Wild Mango Honeymoon Suite
This luxury honeymoon suite is the last chalet on the river's edge to the west of the wild side of the camp, providing guests with maximum privacy. An open deck enjoys views from above the river, offering a panoramic view of the Zambezi River and Nyamangwe Island.
The room features a comfortable 4-poster bed draped in luxury allowing guests to fall asleep to the sounds of the African wildlife. A romantic stone bath open-air bath allows guests to view game on the banks of the river while relaxing.
Hippo Pod Family Lodge
This luxury family home is elegantly decorated with handpicked furniture brought from local craftsmen. The lodge features a master bedroom fitted with a comfortable double bed and an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. A lounge area connects the master bedroom to the second bedroom.
The second bedroom is fitted with twin beds while the lounge converts into a sleeping area for 2 extra guests. Guests can relax in candle lit baths at night or enjoy a shower while viewing game. Fresh towels, bathrobes and toiletries are provided.
This Lower Zambezi National Park accommodation has its own secluded deck fitted with sun loungers and private dining area where guests can enjoy their morning coffee or evening meals overlooking the Zambezi River. Guests also have access to the main facilities at the lodge.
