Bush walks and guided 4x4 game drives in the Matetsi Reserve offer the chance to see elephants, lions, hyenas, crocs, kudu, sable as well as various bird species (366) and roan antelope. Despite this list, we’ve heard that game viewing can be quite limited (especially for experienced safari-goers). However, we still consider it a top Victoria Falls location for those who want that authentic bush setting close to the Victoria Falls.

For a change in pace, this legendary hotspot offers up its own extensive activity menu, including those legendary ‘Flight of the Angels’ helicopter flights, bungee jumping, gorge swinging, and river rafting. For those wanting to tone it down slightly, opt for a guided tour of the falls or a cultural experience at one of the local communities nearby.
