Gorges Lodge is a small property situated in a naturally beautiful area, and offers personalised service. This lodging in Zimbabwe is exclusively positioned atop the escarpment of the Zambezi River gorge, a few km's downstream from Victoria Falls. The environs comprises of unspoiled riverine vegetation inhabited by numerous species of wild animals and birds. The area is home to the Black Eagle and the rare Taita Falcon.

This lodging in Zimbabwe consists of 10 stone and brick thatched en-suite chalets, situated along the edge of the gorge with verandas overlooking the river; 8 twin and 2 double. Four of the chalets are double storey, with a bedroom upstairs and a bath and dressing room below, the other 6 are single floored. A total of 20 guests can be accommodated.

Guests can enjoy a sunset or sunrise cruise gliding silently on glass-like water. The Fish Eagle awaits, whilst in the watery distance Hippo wallow in the never-ending expanse of the Zambezi. Meet craftsmen and artists at the local village.

Gorges Lodge offers an all-inclusive rate, which includes accommodation, dinner, bed and breakfast, airport transfers, transfers to the centre of town, a choice of 2 activities daily, laundry service and a full bar.
