Kenya boasts an excellent climate with no extreme temperature conditions. The coolest months are July-August, with January and February being the warmest. Between the end of October and the start of November the country experiences a short rainy season with light showers during the day and night. The long rainy season happens from April-mid May when the country experiences heavy showers during the day and night.
How to get to Ilkeliani Camp
Daily flights to the Masai Mara depart from Nairobi, Nanyuki and Samburu and land at Ol Kiombo airstrip. An Ilkeliani Camp representative will welcome you at the airstrip and escort you on a road transfer of 25 minutes to Ilkeliani Camp. Private charters arriving from any destination can land at Ol Kiombo airstrip.
