Camp Okavango in Botswana is located on the remote Nxaragha Island situated in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta. This Botswana lodge offers guests a year-round water wilderness experience. Guests are accommodated in elegant East African inspired safari suites, each raised on a teak platform with en-suite facilities.
The thatch and lethaka main lodge boasts a wildlife reference library, lounge and cocktail bar. The dining room opens up onto an expansive open-air patio, ideal for relaxing around the fireside at night. Enjoy delicious meals served by candlelight.
Explore the scenic Okavango Delta by mokoro (canoe) or motorboat. The area is ideal for bird viewing.. Alternatively enjoy a nature walk on one of the numerous islands situated in the Delta. Fish for Bream or Tiger Fish from one of the decks at Camp Okavango, before heading of to the bar for sundowners.
Children under the age of 6 cannot be accommodated.
Children aged 6-11 are required to to be booked for private activities at an additional cost. This may be subject to the discretion of the managers or guides.
Children aged 12-15 must share accommodation with a parent.
There are no childcare or babysitting services provided at the lodge.
Children remain the responsibility of their parents at all times.
