Your Xugana Island Lodge Experience
Xugana Island Lodge is situated in the permanent water of the Okavango Delta on a private concession overlooking the Xugana Lagoon. The surrounding wilderness is home to spectacular wildlife sightings. The al fresco dining area and firepit deck overlooks a lagoon in the Okavango Delta.
This Okavango Delta lodge accommodates 22 guests in spacious raised reed and thatch chalets. Each chalet looks out over the lagoon and features a private viewing deck.
The swimming pool, reception, curio shop, and dining spaces at Xugana Island Lodge are set across expansive, tiered decks that open up to sweeping views of the landscape. A highlight is the overwater fire deck, a striking feature that brings you right to the water’s edge. With uninterrupted panoramas and a wide-open sky overhead, it’s the perfect place to gather, relax, and create lasting memories from sunrise to starlight.
Guests can relax in the main lodge's lounge or enjoy a drink at the bar, all situated under an Ebony and African Mangosteen tree canopy. Look forward to exploring the Okavango Delta by motor boat or mokoro (canoe,) as well as participating in nature walks on the surrounding islands. Guided game drives are also available.
The area is ideal for bird watching, especially while gliding through the waters on a mokoro, an if you are in to fishing, you might want to try your hand at catching Tiger Fish or Bream.
