Xugana Island Lodge is situated in the permanent water of the Okavango Delta on a private concession. The surrounding wilderness is home to spectacular wildlife sightings. The al fresco dining area and open boma overlooks the Okavango Delta.
This Okavango Delta lodge accommodates 16 guests in spacious raised reed and thatch chalets. Each chalet looks out over the lagoon and features a private viewing deck. Guests can relax in the main lodge's lounge or enjoy a drink at the bar, all situated under an Ebony and African Mangosteen tree canopy. You can look forward to exploring the Okavango Delta by motor boat or mokoro (canoe,) as well as participating in nature walks on the surrounding islands.
The area is ideal for bird watching, especially while gliding through the waters on a mokoro, an if you are in to fishing, you might wat to try your hand at catching Tiger Fish or Bream.
Children under the age of 6 cannot be accommodated.
Children under 6 are required to to be booked for private activities at an additional cost. This may be subject to the discretion of the managers or guides.
Children under 15 must share accommodation with a parent.
Children are not allowed to share in the Exclusive Suites.
There are no childcare or babysitting services provided at the lodge.
Children remain the responsibility of their parents at all times.
