Most people who visit the wilderness do so to restore their souls and to appreciate all it teaches humanity but there are many, and the numbers are growing, with each step into the entrapment of materialism, that believe the wilderness is there for the sole purpose of satisfying the needs of mankind.

The dry season devastation and the soul of humanity

'Last time I was here it was so green - this place has been devastated ... who is responsible for this shocking degradation'? 'What time of the year was it that you were here last?'

'It was January but why does that matter, all I know it was not this bad'.
'Ummm it is now the dry season and ........'

'What's that supposed to mean? How am I supposed to get good photographs with it looking like this'.
'The wilderness apologizes for being so inconsiderate sir!'

When you live the seasons you will not question the dust and the heat and will not judge the bare and scarred earth, instead there will be an understanding and appreciation of the changing seasons of the wilderness.
