Safari Activities at The River Club on the Zambezi River

The Victoria Falls area offers a wide variety of activities or enjoy a game of croquet or a nature walk on the property.

Victoria Falls is one of the 7 Wonders of the World and is arguably the greatest waterfall in the world. Daily trips to the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls are a highlight. Boating provides relaxed afternoon activities, and fishing and sundowner trips are offered.

The Zambezi National Park is located just across the Zambezi River, and Elephant can often be seen on the riverbank. The river is rich with bird life as well as Hippo, Crocodile and Impala, which are regularly sighted (and heard) along the river's edge. There's a small park nearby with White Rhino, Giraffe etc. No big cats.

While staying at The River Club guests can visit Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in safari vehicles, go fishing or go on a sundowner boat trip (island lunches can be arranged and on visits to historical Livingstone town). There are also tours to the Livingstone Museum, the Railway Museum or the local African village (Simonga), guests can also enjoy a game of croquet, bush golf and nature walks on the property.

Other activities available at extra cost on your Victoria Falls holiday include: white water rafting, river surfing, bungi jumping, abseiling parachuting, microlight and helicopter flights over the falls, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting and canoeing.
