Location of Robins House, South Luangwa

Resting on the banks of the Luangwa River in the South Luangwa National Park, this Zambia safari lodge is home to an abundance of wildlife.

The Great Rift Valley ends in the South Luangwa National Park – possibly Africa’s finest wildlife sanctuary. The park consists of 9050sq kilometer of vast plains, woodlands, meandering water channels and an array of wildlife species. An impressive amount of 450 bird species is complemented by the numerous elephant, buffalo, lion, giraffe and hippo that reside in the area.

The dry months are from April to October and the wet months November to March. Temperatures range throughout the year from between 11-40 C.

By air

Flights land at Lusaka, Zambia or Lilongwe, Malawi. The flight from Zambia to Mfuwe is 1 hour 30 minutes, and the flight from Malawi is 1 hour long.

By road

From Mfuwe Airport, a 40-minute road transfer delivers travellers to Robin’s House.
