Safari in Mount Kenya

Mount Kenya is located in central Kenya and is the second highest mountain in all of Africa. The mountain has 12 remaining glacier and 4 secondary peaks, and guests on safari can access the surrounding area by road and air transfers. There are five routes for adventurers who wish to climb Mount Kenya, and all routes have spectacular views of the surroundings.

Walking around this spectacular natural wonder is just as spectacular - the lush vegetation and birdlife sets the scene of an unforgettable bush walking safari. Wildlife such as elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, oryx and hyrax can be spotted roaming the area.

Accommodation at Mount Kenya is offered at mountain lodges and activities include mountain climbing, fishing, walking safaris, game drives and cultural interactions. See below for exciting Mount Kenya safari suggestions.
