Your first stop on your 7 day Exclusive Waterlands Safari is Victoria Falls Safari Lodge in Zimbabwe. Here you will enjoy stunning sunsets, uninterrupted views of the waterhole and comfortable and peaceful accommodation.
You might also be able to spot Elephant, Antelope and Buffalo, as they are regular visitors of the area. Warthogs and baboons are also valued residents to the area.
Your next stop is Chobe Savanna Lodge, a timeless and exclusive lodge situated in a classic African savanna environment in the famous Chobe National Park. This lodge offers a peaceful and tranquil setting and sweeping vistas. It offers accommodation in stylish thatched chalets, all with private decks and en suite bathrooms.
Activities you can enjoy at Chobe Savanna Lodge include game viewing by boat, sunset cruises, nature walks and cultural visits to the nearby local communities. This is a truly unique and humbling experience.
Your third and final stop during your safari is the authentic and rustic Xugana Island Lodge that accommodates you in exclusive thatch chalets. Here you can enjoy mokoro (eco friendly dugout canoe) trips, bird watching and fishing for Bream and Tiger fish.

Days 1 & 2: Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, ZimbabweYou get a scheduled road transfer from Victoria Falls Airport to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. You stay at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge on a BB basis for 2 nights. Westward facing, the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge enjoys stunning sunsets and uninterrupted views of the waterhole and beyond.
Elephant, various species of antelope and especially Buffalo are regular visitors, as well as warthogs, banded mongooses, baboons and vervet monkeys are treasured residents.
And yet the lodge with all its natural beauty and tranquillity is only 4 minutes by courtesy bus service from the buzz of the town and the roar of The Falls. The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is set high on a plateau which forms a natural boundary to the Zambezi National Park.

Days 3 & 4: Chobe Savanna Lodge, NamibiaThere is a scheduled road transfer from Vic Falls Safari Lodge to Kasane Jetty, where you embark on the scheduled boat transfer from Kasane Jetty to Chobe Savanna Lodge. You will stay at Chobe Savanna Lodge on a fully inclusive basis for 2 nights during this Southern Africa safari.
Chobe Savanna Lodge is relaxed and informal, set in a classic African Savanna environment with sweeping vistas surrounding the lodge. The focal point of the lodge is a thatched open sided main building which commands a 270 degree view over the Chobe River and beyond to the Chobe National Park.
Located in the main building is the lounge, dining room and bar areas furnished with African inspired furniture in dark teak woods, perfectly in tune with the environment. The lodge accommodates just 24 guests in stylish thatched chalets, all with private decks, a combined bedroom / lounge area and en-suite bathrooms.

All rooms on your Southern Africa safari are furnished in subtle earth tones and dark woods in a contemporary African theme, are air-conditioned and have complimentary mini bars. Facilities include a swimming pool, a gazebo that is ideal for small group lunches and an open boma area (place of eating), on the banks of the Chobe River, where guests are treated to panoramic views and traditional dancing performed by local villagers.
All activities are conducted by resident professional guides, whose intimate knowledge will make for an unforgettable experience. During your Southern Africa safari you can enjoy some game viewing by boat, as well as sunset cruises on the Chobe River.
Nature walks and guided canoeing along the river as well as a cultural excursion to one of the surrounding local communities are some of the exciting activities for you to avail yourself of on your Botswana safari. Here guests can observe the deep-rooted traditional life styles of the people.

Days 5 & 6: Xugana Island Lodge, BotswanaYou take the scheduled boat transfer from Chobe Savanna Lodge to Kasane Jetty; from there you go on a road transfer from Kasane Jetty to Kasane Airport. At Kasane Airport there is a charter flight to Xugana Island Lodge. You will be accommodated at Xugana Island Lodge on a fully inclusive basis for 2 nights.
The lodge accommodates just 16 guests in large raised reed and thatch chalets, situated on the shaded fringe of the island, each with a lagoon view through the lagoon-side vegetation. Each chalet is twin bedded with en-suite facilities, showers, overhead fans and a private deck. His and hers Robes are provided.
Mokoro trips in eco-friendly dugout canoes, combined with walking, to surrounding lagoons and islands in the concession give guests the chance to experience a classic Delta safari. Bird-watching opportunities are outstanding, and fishing for bream and tiger fish is also offered as an activity at the lodge.

Please Note:All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 12 kilograms (26 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.
If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant in advance as soon as the booking is made so that the necessary arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.

The Victoria Falls are the most famous tourist attraction in Southern Africa. David Livingstone finally reached them in November 1855, after hearing about the Mosi-oa-tunya ‘Smoke that Thunders’, some four years earlier.
