Spend your days cruising through the Delta's myriad waterways and watch as water wonders emerge - hippos, crocodiles and sometimes even playful families of elephants. Early morning walking safaris will lead you into a maze of mopane trees where you will come into contact with a flora fantasy like no other.

Days 1 - 2: Maun - Xakanaxa Lagoon in Moremi Game Reserve

On arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be met by a tour representative and assisted to your private air charter to Camp Moremi. Enjoy two nights at the lodge, situated on the scenic Xakanaxa Lagoon on the eastern side of the Okavango Delta, within the Moremi Game Reserve, on a fully inclusive basis.

Explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels from an elevated viewing platform or by motorboat, which affords excellent bird watching opportunities. View the water wonderland from a dry platform as your guide takes you on a game drive in an open 4x4 safari vehicles in the Moremi Game Reserve.

Days 3 - 4: Xugana Lagoon in the Okavango Delta

Today you will be transferred from Moremi Airstrip to Okavango Airstrip via a quick scenic flight over the Delta. A representative from the lodge will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to Xugana Island Lodge, where you will stay for two nights, on a fully inclusive basis.

Xugana Lagoon is widely accepted as being the most spectacular permanent water site in the entire Okavango Delta. Providing a lush relief from the arid Kalahari sands, the Okavango River braces the desert with its lagoons, channels and islands. Embark on a guided nature walk as you learn to understand how the various species residing in the area all contribute to the functioning of this unique ecosystem.Along with the impressive game sightings such as lions, leopards and hippos comes a unique list of bird species and a beautiful range of botany. Gaze in awe into the Mopane forests, seasonal floodplains and riverine forests as you lose yourself in this haven. Enjoy the lifeless waters of a raised deck swimming pool as you stare into the endless horizon and sip on sundowner cocktails before approaching the boma area where meals and drinks are served by local staff.As you flow through the water channels in a traditional Mokoro or a modern motorboat, notice the tiny frogs clinging to the reeds and admire the kingfishers on their flight to their next meal. The wetland boasts with a prolific list of water birds that create the perfect background music on your trip through the Delta. Fly-fishing is considered an activity to look forward to as fishing enthusiasts search the waters for bream and tiger fish.

Day 5: Maun

Today you will be driven to Xugana Island Lodge's airstrip where you will board a light aircraft flight to Maun International Airport and proceed with your onward arrangements.
