Day 1: Maun Lodge, Botswana

Upon your arrival in Maun, on the start of your Southern Africa Safari, and after clearing Botswana customs and immigration, you will be met by a representative and assisted onto your scheduled road transfer to Maun Lodge.

Situated along the banks of the Thamalakane River in maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta, Maun Lodge offers you luxury accommodation, banqueting and conference facilities and personal service at affordable prices.

Located only 2,5km from the town centre and just 4km from the international airport, Maun Lodge is the ideal location for international visitors and businessmen/women alike. The staff will strive to exceed your expectations.

Days 2 & 3: Camp Okavango, Botswana

You will be transferred via road to Maun Airport, in time for your scheduled charter flight to Camp Okavango. Enjoy this awesome bird's eye view of the Okavango Delta on your Botswana Safari, taking very special memories and moments of Africa with you that will stay with you forever.

Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assuring a year-round Botswana Safari water wilderness experience.

Camp Okavango's unashamed luxury blends with the Africa of old in the elegant thatch and lethaka main lodge buildings. The dining room leads onto an expansive open-air patio for evenings around the open boma.

Other lodge facilities include a cocktail bar, lounge, wildlife reference library, a secluded bird-viewing hide, shaded hammocks, a delightful sun deck and plunge pool for relaxing during the hot midday hours.

Camp Okavango accommodates only 24 guests in intimate exclusivity in East African-style safari tents individually situated on raised teak platforms with en-suite facilities and private sun decks. Days 4 & 5: Camp Moremi, Botswana

After an early breakfast you will depart from Camp Okavango to Camp Moremi with a boat trip (3 hours) through the intricate channels of the remote wilderness of the Okavango Delta. You will enjoy this totally different game viewing experience on your Botswana Safari.

Stop on one of the islands for coffee and biscuits along the way - you will see the change in the landscape and stop for game viewing when you find animals on the banks of the river, keeping an eye out for Hippos and Crocodiles in the channels.

Camp Moremi accommodates only 22 guests in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak platforms. Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs.

Days 6 & 7: Chobe Game Lodge, Botswana

After breakfast and your morning Botswana Safari activity (if time allows) you will depart on a charter flight from Camp Moremi to Kasane Airport. Upon arrival at Kasane Airport, you will be met by a representative and be transferred via road to Chobe Game Lodge.

The only permanent game lodge situated within the Chobe National Park, Chobe Game Lodge is Botswana's premier venue for guests looking for a perfect base to explore the Chobe National Park. The lodge can accommodate up to 100 people in total luxury, offering a choice of land or water activities and the most complete game experience in the Chobe area.

Game drives are conducted in open sided 4x4 vehicles ensuring maximum visibility, while game viewing on the Chobe River is conducted by small, shallow draft and highly maneuverable boats piloted by expert boatmen. 

The resident professional guides offer star gazing and guided walks within the game-fenced area. Other facilities include a large swimming pool with terrace, a riverside boma area where traditional dancers perform.

A business centre, a fully equipped conference room with seating for up to 90 people in cinema style and an internet office is available for those guests needing to keep in touch.

There is a stylish bar with an outside terrace overlooking the Chobe River and a cigar bar with a champion sized billiard table. Chobe also has a reference library with lounge and terrace. Botswana Safari meals are catered for at the terrace restaurant overlooking the Chobe River.

All the rooms at the lodge are river facing and are air conditioned with overhead fans, complimentary mini bar and en-suite bathrooms, each with tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have their very own private terrace.

Botswana Safari game drives are by open 4x4 safari vehicle, game viewing by motorboat or sunset cruises on the river cruiser, the Mosi-oa-Tunya, on the Chobe River. Stargazing and guided walks within the game-fenced area are also on offer.

Day 8: Depart

After breakfast, you will be transferred via boat to the Kasane Jetty, where you will be met by a representative and transferred via road to Vic Falls Safari Lodge, Zimbabwe, Vic Falls.

You will be transferred via Kazangula border post. The journey is approximately 70km from the Botswana border where you will have to complete immigration and customs procedures on both sides.

Please Note:

All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 12 kilograms (26 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.

If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant as soon as the booking is made so that the needed arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.
