Once your flight arrives in Maun, you will be transferred to Maun Lodge. Here you can relax in one of the peaceful and luxurious rooms. The warm and inviting decor welcomes you to rest, so that you are ready for the days ahead.
Next on your African safari vacation package, is the romantic and exclusive Camp Okavango; situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, you can enjoy water wilderness experience.
From Camp Okavango, you will spend 2 nights at Camp Moremi. The camp accommodates guests in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak platforms. While on safari you have the chance to see the mighty Hippo or the magnificent African Crocodiles.
The only permanent game lodge situated within the Chobe National Park, Chobe Game Lodge is Botswana's premier venue for guests looking for a perfect base to explore the Chobe National Park. The resident professional guides offer star gazing and guided walks within the game-fenced area. Your last 2 days are spent here.
Upon your arrival in Maun, on the start of your African safari vacation package, and after clearing Botswana customs and immigration, you will be met by a representative and assisted onto your scheduled road transfer to Royal Tree Lodge
.Royal Tree Lodge is situated in a private reserve about 20 minutes drive from Maun. Stay in a well appointed Meru style safari tent which is built on a raised deck to enhance wonderful views of the forest. It will have an elegant en-suite bathroom which has an outdoor shower.
Set out to see the areas amazing wildlife on an afternoon game drive in open safari vehicle led by an experienced local guide. Stop off in a scenic spot for sun-downers and take in the sunset before returning to the lodge for a tasty dinner.
After breakfast you will be transferred via road to Maun Airport, in time for your scheduled charter flight to Camp Okavango. Enjoy this awesome bird's eye view of the Okavango Delta on your Botswana Safari, taking very special memories and moments of Africa with you that will stay with you forever.
Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assuring a year-round Botswana Safari water wilderness experience. Camp Okavango's unashamed luxury blends with the Africa of old in the elegant thatch and lethaka main lodge buildings. The dining room leads onto an expansive open-air patio for evenings around the open boma.
Other lodge facilities include a cocktail bar, lounge, wildlife reference library, a secluded bird-viewing hide, shaded hammocks, a delightful sun deck and plunge pool for relaxing during the hot midday hours.
After an early breakfast you will depart from Camp Okavango to Camp Moremi with a boat trip (3 hours) through the intricate channels of the remote wilderness of the Okavango Delta. You will enjoy this totally different game viewing experience on your African safari vacation package.
Stop on one of the islands for coffee and biscuits along the way - you will see the change in the landscape and stop for game viewing when you find animals on the banks of the river, keeping an eye out for Hippos and Crocodiles in the channels.
Your stay at Camp Moremi is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, all local brand drinks, scheduled game-viewing activities, park entrance fees and laundry service. Tracking big game on morning and afternoon game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle, excellent bird-watching, exploring the Xakanaxa Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels by motorboat.
