Located in the Ruaha National Park, Kigelia Ruaha has the advantage of being placed in a wildlife hotspot. From its large herds of elephants to its prolific birdlife, this region is one of natures best.
Explore the splendor surrounding you as you view game from an open safari vehicle on an early morning or afternoon game drive. Game viewing can also be done on a smaller scale as you set out on a guided walking safari, allowing you to see, feel and smell natures smaller wonders.
The Ruaha National Park, the second largest park in Tanzania, is situated in a remote location, providing fairly unshared habitats and wildlife species. The worlds largest herds of buffalo have made the park their home and game viewers can look forward to seeing these giants in their natural setting. The vast openness of the park is disruoted by the rolling hills and groves of trees.
Accommodation at Kigelia Ruaha is provided in an exclusive amount of six safari tents, each a large and comfortable size and providing its guests with utmost privacy. The tents are decorated with locally crafted furniture and the airy tents provide shelter from the natural elements without completely removing guests from their surroundings. The tents each have en-suite showers that are situated just outside the tent, allowing for game viewing from your shower!
Dining at Kigelia Ruaha is a magical experience as most of your meals will be served outdoors, depending on the weather. Picnics in the bush will provide a break from your game viewing expeditions and the dinner table will be lit by a starry sky and a nearby campfire.
