Follow the herds as they move into the altering horizon of landscapes, each providing views of dueling beauty.

Day 1 - 2: Johannesburg - Okavango Delta

Fly from Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport to Maun International Airport in Botswana. Here you will be met by a tour representative who will transfer you to Xigera Mokoro Trails Camp in the Okavango Delta via a short flight.

The best way to value Xigera is to travel through it and this will be done via the water channels in a mokoro, by venturing into the bush on safari walks and by camping out on a vegetated island. Observe the diversity of plant, bird and animal life as you analyze their relation to one another in this active ecosystem.

On your mission on the mokoro, look out for a glimpse of one of the many birds in a long list of species, or spot a sitatunga or some pygmy geese. Take a closer look at the reeds and notice the tiny reed frogs that are clinging to them. From the giant wonders to the unnoticed creatures, new sightings are inevitable in the Delta. Spend your evenings glued to the screen of the shimmering African sky. Get lost in the warmth of a burning campfire as you replay the day's events.

Day 3 - 5: Okavango Delta

Leave Xigera Mokoro Trails Camp unharmed as you board a light aircraft to Khwai Adventurer Camp, a serviced mobile camp that will be your home for the next 2 nights. Woodlands, floodplains, wetland and grasslands are the contributing landscapes that create a picture-perfect setting to your stay.

Watch as crocodiles and hippos emerge from the waters of the Khwai Channel or delight in the fresh smell of camelthorn and appleleaf as you wander through the riverine woodland. The floodplains are graced by easily recognizable species such as wildebeest and kudu.

As one of the most diverse areas in northern Botswana, the Khwai Concession in the Delta seldom disappoints when it comes to producing extraordinary wildlife experiences. Enjoy the bush walks and game drives that are bound to keep you entertained for hours as you witness life in the bush. Allow yourself to rewind in the silence of the night as you sit under the ceiling of stars and listen to the sounds coming from the bush.

Day 6 - 8: Linyanti Concession

Fly north-east to the private Linyanti Concession to the Linyanti Adventurer Camp, which will provide your accommodation for the next 2 nights. Mopane woodland in connection with floodplains and riparian forest result in an area teeming with wildlife. The concession is bisected by the Savute Channel, allowing for a year-round wildlife experience.

The abundance of plains game attracts predators like lions and leopards. If you're lucky enough, you might spot the endangered wild dog during your game drive through the bush. Birding enthusiasts will appreciate the likely sighting of Bradfield's hornbill, Schalow's Louries and coqui francolins. Return from an adventurous day in the bush and attend to your appetite as you dig into a delicious meal. Make sure you get enough rest so that the next day's activities can be thoroughly enjoyed.

Day 9: Chobe National Park - Livingstone, Zambia

Today you will fly to Kasane for your daily activity. Cruise along the Chobe River on a boat cruise that offers sightings of the famous herds of Chobe elephants and the other wildlife species that are unique to this area. A light lunch will be served as you float on the tranquil waters on the river. Aboard the cruise, you will not only be exposed to a panoramic view of the surroundings but you will also relish in the sights and songs of the animals and birds around you.

With an impressive list of 350 different bird species, the Chobe River has permanent residents, rare encounters and migratory birds along with an abundance of water birds. With a balanced ecosystem all around you, the cruise is an opportune time to practice your photographic skills. After the cruise, there will be a road transfer to Livingstone, Zambia, where you will overnight at The River Club.

Day 10: Victoria Falls - Johannesburg

The final day of your adventure will exceed all the standards met throughout your journey. On a guided tour of the Victoria Falls, you will experience a series of jaw-dropping moments as you watch this liquid curtain spray the area with its magic. As one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the Falls is an experience that will remain unmatched infinitely.

Your tour guide will explain the history behind the Falls before identifying points of interest. There are various optional activities available for adrenaline junkies, such as bungee jumping and white river rafting. Your journey will come to an end as you are transferred to Livingstone International Airport where you will board a flight to Johannesburg International Airport.
