Days 1 - 2: Johannesburg - Okavango Delta

Board a flight from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to Maun International Airport in Botswana. Your dedicated guide will meet you at the airport and from there you will proceed to Nxabega Airstrip. From there you will be taken on a short game drive to the campsite in the Okavango Delta.

You will spend 2 nights at the &Beyond campsite, bordering the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. The camp is situated in a private concession area that boasts views of the world's only inland delta. Spend your days on game-viewing walks on the islands where you might be lucky enough to spot the native lechwe and sitatunga antelope roaming within the wetland area. Numbers of giraffe and elephant are also present along the floodplains, with predators like lions and leopards sometimes making a dramatic appearance.

Slide through the water channels in a mokoro, or dug-out canoe, as you encounter sightings of the resident hippos, fish eagles and reed-clinging frogs that decorate the channels. Capture the moment as you photograph the unique surroundings, adorned by patches of crystal-clear water channels and lush islands. A mokoro excursion is the perfect way to rewind as you are pushed along by tranquil waters that eventually absorb into the earth. Occasional sightings of fish surfacing the water and of otters frolicking in the liquid luxury are something to look out for.

After a satisfying day, return to the campsite and indulge in a filling meal while sharing the day's stories around a campfire. Stare out into an endless horizon of stars before concluding your day in your tent.

Days 3 - 4: Moremi Wildlife Reserve

A morning flight in a light aircraft will deliver you to the Khwai Concession in the North Gate region of Moremi Wildlife Reserve, where you will spend the next 2 nights of your adventure. Your days on the concession will be spent marveling in the wonder of the wild. Situated adjacent to the Moremi Wildlife Reserve, breathtaking views and a wealthy wildlife concentration is an integral part of your stay. A variety of landscapes will be displayed, from forests and floodplains to lagoons and islands.

Nonstop game viewing is a bonus in this region as sightings of resident species including lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, wild dog, zebra and the medium-sized red lechwe antelope can be seen throughout the year. You will be kept occupied in extensive game viewing on drives and bush walks. For keen photographers, the games drives are an opportune excursion to pursue your skills and you're sure to emerge from the bush with a multitude of high quality images to boast.

Days 5 - 6: Savute. Chobe National Park

The more time you spend in the bush, the more likely you are to spot a wider variety of fauna and flora. On a long game drive, you will spend 5-6 hours rummaging through the untamed bush in search of your favourite animals. The final destination of this game drive is the Savute region of Chobe National Park, renowned for its impressive concentrations of wildlife. You will spend 2 nights marveling in the amazement this region exudes.

The vegetation is a unique site on its own - indigenous mopane forests are complemented by acacia savanna and rocky outcrops. The Savute Channel acts as a magnet as it draws large numbers of wildlife to its waters. Acknowledged as being the prime spot to view predators, the Savute region is roamed by lions, leopards and spotted hyenas.

Large numbers of zebra migrate to the area after the summer rains have turned it into a scrumptious marsh. Dine under the stars before returning to your comfortable dome tent and slip into a peaceful sleep with dreams shaped by the day's experiences.

Days 7 - 8: Chobe River. Northern Chobe

Leave the Savute behind and take your memories with you into your next destination of adventure. After another long game drive, lasting for approximately 4-5 hours, you will reach the northern Chobe region, where you will camp for 2 nights.

Unbelievably-sized herds of elephant are a widely-known and accepted characteristic of the Chobe region and you will be able to view these grey giants as they parade in and around the Chobe River. On your game drive or boat cruise, photograph these legendary creatures as they exist in their natural habitat. Give credit to Northern Chobe's prolific list of bird and animal life, as well as the flawless sunsets that descend into a landscape of wonder.

Day 9: Victoria Falls

From Chobe National Park you will be driven to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, where you will meet your guide for the last few days of your adventure. You will then be escorted to The Elephant Camp and into your Victoria Falls activities. Your guide will accompany you on a breathtaking tour of the Falls - one of the world's greatest natural spectacles. The Falls was originally known by the local Batonga people as Mosi-oa-Tunya, 'the smoke that thunders'.

In areas surrounding the Falls, there are endless activities to deepen your love for the majestic wonder. Enquire about these optional activities before you arrive at the Falls and be spoilt with choice with adventure sports like bungee jumping and white water rafting amongst a long list of others. On your return to The Elephant Camp, a dedicated team will take over from your guide and will enthrall you with up-close and personal interactions with wildlife - in particular, the elephants at the Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary.

Day 10: Johannesburg

After a final breakfast at The Elephant Camp, you will be driven to Victoria Falls International Airport, where your adventure with us will come to an end and you will board a flight to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
