This Serengeti safari lodge is eco-friendly and focuses on promoting sustainable tourism and therefore makes use of solar-powered energy. Additionally, natural resources are preferred in the functioning of the lodge and recycling is a strict practice.
Welcoming families with children aged above 10 years, the lodge is an ideal resort for families trekking through Africa. With activities that cater to the family unit, as well as parents and children separately, all members of the family can spend their time pursuing their personal and shared interests.
Situated in the Lamai triangle, the lodge covers an area of the northern tip of the Serengeti National Park. The area, between Kenya's Maasai Mara National Park and Tanzania's Mara River, is a wildlife wonder. Seasonal sightings include the spectacular annual wildebeest migration where enormous herds search for new grazing fields.
The Mara River is home to resident families of hippo and crocodile, who frolic in the water and laze on the banks. The plains surrounding the river are occupied by various plains game, big cats and elephants.
