Kruger National Park has 145 animal species and an average of 500 bird species complemented by beautiful trees and bush. This African safari will focus on providing the opportunity for guests to experience the bush in its true form, while enjoying luxury accommodation and scenic surroundings. You can watch wildlife from your private veranda, from your bathroom window or one of the decks at the camp. Various buck species make their way around the camp, and some of the predators visit the waterhole in the heat of the day. Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park
At Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport, you will board a flight to the Kruger National Park. A road transfer will take you from the airport to Rhino Post Camp, your luxury accommodation situated on a dry river bed. Upon arrival, the team at Rhino Post Camp will welcome you with something to eat under the magnificent Tamboti trees in the private wilderness concession while your luggage gets portered to your room.
Once you are refreshed, your safari guide will take you on a game drive through the concession area. You are bound to get some interesting sightings and learn things you never knew before. In the evenings, beautifully laid tables feature delicious cuisine to fill hungry mouths coming back from the night game drive. For private dinners, a table for two can be set, adorned by a canopy of stars and subtle candle light.
Day 2 -3: Kruger National Park South
Early in the morning, you can warm up with a hot drink before going on the morning game drive. Hearty breakfasts are always set-up after the morning activity, followed by some relaxation at the pool or reading in the library. The serenity of the bush will have a calming effect as you admire the natural beauty of South Africa's Lowveld. At the lodge, you will attend an afternoon high tea for some refreshments and snacks before your afternoon game viewing excursion.
A second game drive will set out into the wild during the afternoon and extend into the evening, in time to enjoy sundowners in a remote part of the bush. Experience a typical African sunset that will exceed all your expectations. Evening game drives experience a new characteristic of the bush with its nocturnal wildlife being exposed by your experienced guide's spotlight.
Return to the lodge for a delicious culinary experience before resorting to the cosy lounge and fireplace where a bar will serve you post-dinner drinks. The lodge has its own wine cellar, featuring a selection of premium South African wines for your enjoyment. Return to your suite for a peaceful night's rest, serenaded by the sounds of an active bush.
Day 4: Kruger Park South - Johannesburg
On the final morning of your brief safari getaway, you will enjoy a hearty breakfast before preparing for your departure from the lodge. A road transfer will take you to Skukuza Airport where you will board a flight to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport. Here, you will embark on your onward travel arrangements.Included
