Days 1-3: Kasane - Chobe, Botswana
On your arrival at Kasane Airport you will be met by a lodge representative who will drive you to Chobe Marina Lodge outside the Chobe National Park. After settling in, you will venture into the Chobe National Park, renowned for its impressive herds of elephant. Skilled guides will navigate you through the Park in an open safari vehicle on a game drive.
Be amazed as you drive past herds of elephant and buffalo and families of vervet monkeys. If you're lucky, stare into the eyes of a lion or leopard! Offering a diversity of animal and bird species, the bush will keep your family adventure on track.
Set out in wonder as you cruise along the Chobe River, watching as a fish eagle descends into the water to catch a bite to eat. Game viewing from the river provides spectacular sightings of the land-based animals as well as water lovers like the elephant, hippos and crocodiles.
Try your hand at fishing as you head to the waters in search of a tiger fish or relax on a sunset cruise into the scenic horizon. For more adventurous activities, enquire about the white water rafting and bungee jumping near the Victoria Falls. Adrenaline junkies can boast about their achievements once they've acquired the experience.
Day 4: Zambezi National Park, Zimbabwe
From Chobe, you will be transferred to the Kazungula Border where you will complete immigration into Zimbabwe. You will then be driven to the Zambezi National Park where you will stay at a modern family suite at Victoria Falls Safari Suites within Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. This unspoiled wilderness is the foundation of fun for you and your family.
With many activities to keep the children busy and to keep you amazed, your stay in the Zambezi will be one to record in your family albums.
Hop on a shuttle and be transported to the Victoria Falls Town Centre or the Victoria Falls Rainforest for a spontaneous day outing. Walk amongst the local people or the local vegetation as you explore the amazement of Africa. Watch from an elevated viewing deck as numerous free-roaming wildlife species approach the waterhole for relief from the African sun.
Stare into the horizon until the sun fades and the stares come out. Move over to the MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant for a quiet family dinner or join in on the local festivities at the Boma - Place of Eating.
Day 5: Zambezi National Park - Victoria Falls
Venture out into a first-hand experience of the magical Victoria Falls alongside a professional guide - either on a morning or afternoon tour. The tour takes you right up to the majestic natural wonder where you will get lost in the refreshing sights, sounds and smells of the Falls - and of course, the feeling of it as its waters shower you in amazement. Raincoats are provided if when the amazement becomes too overwhelming.Your tour guide will provide you with a brief history of the Falls, including a detailed depiction of the flora and fauna that contributes to its magic. The points of interest will also be identified for when you disintegrate from the group in acceptance of your own wonderment.Day 6: Zambezi National Park
Today you will take an even deeper walk into the bush as wander through the Zambezi gorges. Enjoy your view as your giant guide transports you along the ancient trails in the Zambezi National Park. Capture the sights of Africa as you stare into the scenic views and spot various wildlife species.
Experience unique elephant interaction. This unforgettable encounter includes a freshly prepared meal in the bush before returning you to the lodge for an evening of story-telling and relaxing with your family.
Day 7: Transfer to Victoria Falls Airport
You will be collected from the Zambezi National Park and driven to the Victoria Falls International Airport where you will board your onwards travel arrangements.Included
