Kumbali Country Lodge is located a mere 10 minute drive from Malawi's capital city, Lilongwe. Stay at the lodge on a stopover on an African vacation to Lake Malawi or other Malawi attractions. The lodge is situated on a 650 hectare private forest reserve that has a working dairy farm.
Lilongwe was previously a small fishing village that was used as an administrative centre by Colonial Britain. The city is located on the banks of the Lilongwe River that runs into the great Lake Malawi, at the centre of Malawi. The borders of Mozambique and Zambia are in close proximity of Malawi's capital city.
The lodge can be accessed via a road transfer from the nearby Lilongwe Airport (also known as Kamuzu International Airport). A transfer from the airport to Kumbali Country Lodge takes between 40 minutes to an hour.
