Ongava Lodge is located in the Ongava Private Game Reserve situated along the southern boundary of Etosha, Namibia. It's situated near the Anderssen Gate in northern Namibia and south of Okaukeujo.
The region boasts an exhaustive list of wildlife species including Springbok, Wildebeest, Burchell’s Zebra, Giraffe, Impala as well as a prolific bird list. The area is also home to the endangered Black Rhino, making game viewing an exciting venture into sacred territory.
Guests can access Ongava Lodge either by air or by car. Guests arriving by air can arrive directly at the lodge's private airstrip. The flight from Windhoek will take about an hour and a half, while the flight from Swakopmund will take about an hour and 45 minutes.
From Windhoek take the B1 to Otjiwarongo, then the C38 via Outjo towards Okaukuejo. Turn left off the tarmac road at the signpost to Ongava directly opposite the Ombika Gate entrance to Etosha.
Transfers between Windhoek and Ongava are available, on request for groups of four or more, subject to availability.
