Things to do at Okonjima Villa

Okonjima is home to the AfriCat Foundation, and allows for safe viewing and tracking of rehabilitated wildlife in Namibia.

Game drives

Game drives take place after dinner and safari-goers are guided out into the 20 000ha of private nature reserve. These night drives use a spotlight to expose the nocturnal wildlife. Leopard viewing is possible, however, due to the nature of these elusive creatures, not guaranteed.

Animal tracking

The rehabilitated cheetahs, wild dogs and spotted hyenas are radio-collared and can be tracked on foot.

Birding

An approximate of 250 bird species can be spotted during a bird watching expedition in Okonjima Nature Reserve.
