Game viewing starts as soon as you leave Mala Mala Airstrip, where you will make your way to Rattray's on Mala Mala - the largest private game reserve in South Africa. Camp Jabulani in the Kapama Game Reserve follows as your next destination. This elephant sanctuary has private suites each with a private plunge pool, a fireplace, and a separate lounge area.The lodge is known for its elephant interactions and is home to habituated elephant saved by the lodge owners.

Day 1: Johannesburg - Mala Mala Private Game Reserve

Your journey begins as soon as you land at Mala Mala's Airstrip, a representative will take you on a game drive on your way to Rattray's on MalaMala. Situated between Kruger and Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, this prestige lodge provides some of the best fauna and flora Africa has to offer.

Each room has its own terrace with a scenic view of the river. The harmonious sounds of the bush will put you to ease. A quick snack, delicious pastries and a beverage, will be followed-up by a game drive. Spot a few nocturnal animals that roam freely in the park. After a day of game viewing, freshen up and devour delicious meal, and engage in with the rangers and other visitors.

Day 2: Mala Mala Private Game Reserve

A knock on the door and a cup of tea will indicate the start of a new day. Nibble a snack before embarking a new journey. A morning safari walk will rejuvenate you for the rest of the day. A professional and skilled ranger will help you track wildlife. Savor buffet lunch, with some local favorites, upon your return from the safari to the lodge.

Relax and unwind before your next adventure begins. Intimate safari drives in specialized safari vehicles are conducted by experienced rangers. Leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo are among the fauna that you may track with the help of your guide.

Visit the wine cellar and indulge your inner wine connoisseur with a selection of fine wines to sample from. Experience fine bushveld dining. You can choose between a candlelit dinner on the wooden safari deck overlooking the immaculate Sand River, or you can dine under the ancient Jackalberry tree.

Day 3 - 4: Kapama Game Reserve

Situated in the vast Kapama Game Reserve lies this elephant sanctuary, known as Camp Jabulani, which will be your following destination. A lodge representative will take you on an excursion from Rattrays on Mala Mala to the Mala Mala Airstrip, where you will board a flight to Hoedspruit Airstrip. Embark on a mini excursion on your way to the lodge. The friendly and attentive staff will serve you refreshments upon your arrival. Sip on a cold beverage or tea and nibble on delicious pastries while catching a breather.

This exclusive lodge has six luxurious suites, each with a fireplace and separate lounge area, for a maximum of 12 guests. Unwind in a private plunge pool to the sounds of over 350 bird species chirping. Enjoy a game drive into to the bush veld on a late afternoon safari. The lodge is home to a number of elephant, each with its unique personality. Say goodnight to the elephants as you tuck them into their stables before heading back to your suite.

Wake up to the trumpeting sound of the elephants before spoor-tracking game with an armed ranger on a morning safari walk. You will have the opportunity to touch and examine trees as you learn about the different flora. A morning game drive is an alternative option.

Head out in search of the big five in a open safari vehicle. After a day of tracking game, indulge a delicious meal in the open plan dining room. The authentic menu sports a number of mouthwatering dishes that will satisfy every palate and caters a range of dietary preferences. Choose from a selection of fine wine to complement your meal.

Day 5: Kapama Game Reserve - Johannesburg

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before being escorted from Camp Jabulani in the Kapama Game Reserve to Hoedspruit, where you will board your flight to O.R Tambo International in Johannesburg.
