This 6 day getaway emphasizes the splendor of the bush by unique activities that introduce safari-goers to the bush. Elephant encounters are the highlight of your stay in Zambia and Botswana and elephant safaris will allow you to view game in a position above all others.

A cross-border vacation will allow you to see some of East Africa's most amazing natural phenomenon, including the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, Chobe National Park and the Victoria Falls. Day 1: Livingstone - Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park

Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport, you will be met by a lodge representative and taken on a road transfer to Thorntree River Lodge. You will stay at this safari lodge in Zambia for 3 nights, accommodated in a luxury en-suite room in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. After settling in, spend the afternoon outdoors in exploration of Zambia.

The nearby Victoria Falls is a hub of adventure and home to numerous adrenaline-pumping activities. Optional activities offered during your safari vacation in Zambia include picnics on Livingstone Island, canoeing, white water rafting, tandem kayaking, abseiling, and bungee-jumping.

A must-do for adventure seekers is a hike in the rainforest on the lip of the famous waterfall's chasm. Your first afternoon in Zambia can be spent enjoying one or more of these activities.

A highlight of your stay in Zambia is undoubtedly the unique elephant sightings and interactions. A sunset boat cruise on the Lady Livingstone is perfect for viewing elephants, hippos and crocodiles while enjoying an ice-cold sundowner.

Meals are served al fresco African style, under the stars on a private and secluded section overlooking the river. Magic is experienced under the shimmering sky, with candlelight providing some extra lighting in addition to the natural glow of the stars.

Day 2 - 3: Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park

After a hearty breakfast, prepare for an adventure-packed day in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Animal lovers and nature enthusiast will have a superb time during the next two days, where elephant encounters and exposure to the natural bush setting is to be experienced. Interact with these majestic creatures during a planned encounter where you can touch and feed some of the elephants.

After being introduced to the herd, you will experience the bush the way these wildlife wonders do. Imagine an endless view overlooking the African plains with numerous species wildlife roaming at your feet. A morning or afternoon elephant walking safari is an activity that is unlike any other, with a trained guide leading you.

Day 4 - 5: Chobe National Park

At Livingstone Airport, a representative will welcome you and take you into Botswana via the Kazungula Border. After passport checks, you will be driven to Kasane for a 2 night stay at Chobe Chilwero Lodge. This Botswana safari lodge is located on the border of the Chobe National Park.

Enter the home of the elephants, where you will be spoilt with many elephant encounters and a special elephant adventure. Large elephant herds can be spotted during the dry season months, between June and September. The wildlife-rich forests of these concessions are adorned by the presence of these grey giants.

Game drives take place in specialized safari vehicles during the early morning and late afternoon, when the bush is at its most active. Wildlife sightings in Chobe include the famous elephants, buffalos, hippos, lions, leopards, and numerous amounts of antelope species.

During your visit to Botswana, you will be able to go on game viewing excursions in the unfiltered wilderness or you can spend a leisurely afternoon using the lodge's facilities, such as the refreshing swimming pool or the optional wellness treatments offered at the spa.The Chobe River offers the opportunity for spectacular boat cruises with specialized photographic safari boat excursions. Cruise down the river with a setting sun as a background and wildlife occupying the waters and banks of the river.

Day 6: Chobe National Park - Kasane Airport

A friendly representative will escort you on a road transfer from the lodge in Chobe to Kasane Airport in Botswana, in time to meet your onward travel arrangements.
