Location of Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge

This Amboseli safari lodge is surrounded by rolling grasslands and acacia thickets which seem dwarfed by the wonder of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park.

Amboseli means Salty Dust in the Maasai language. Although a small park it has a wide variety of animals apart from the great African Elephant. The foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park are rich in flora and fauna, guests can also see Lion, Cheetah, Giraffe, Zebra, Buffalo, Rhino, Wildebeest and of course many birds.

Guests here can enjoy the ultimate view of the legendary snows of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park and watch the fabulous sight of the massive Elephant as they wallow luxuriously in the luscious green swamps of Lake Amboseli.

The Maasai people, legendary nomadic and pastoral tribes roam these lands. Throughout history they have followed the migratory patterns of wildlife, although this has changed somewhat in recent generations, Amboseli is still one of their traditional homes.
