John Wayne together with Elsa Martinelli and the rest of the cast were frequent visitors to the hotel.

The Arusha has 3 function rooms that include the Jumuika Conference room, fully equipped and capable to handle 100 delegates. The classically furnished Kikao Executive board room features 16 leather back chairs for smaller groups. Porinis is a multi-function room that opens out onto the terrace. The room is capable of handling up to 300 delegates.

For outside functions the 3 acres of sprawling lush tropical landscaped gardens is ideal. The gardens create the perfect location to host larger numbers of guests for banqueting, parties and receptions.

Arusha International Conference Center:

The Arusha International Conference Center, close to the hotel is an ideal facility for organizing conventions of up to 800 delegates.
