Tarangire National Park offers prime wildlife viewing opportunities in its location in the northern Tanzania safari circuit. With common sightings of the large herds of elephant and buffalo, an abundance of games plain and an impressive list of 550 bird species, Tarangire has it all. The big cats often grace the area with their presence and emphasize their majesty with their echoing roars and purrs.
Based on the banks of the Tarangire River, Kuro Tarangire is set amongst a backdrop of acacia and kigelia trees. The camp is built on landscapes of dry, open woodlands decorated by baobab trees. As you step out of your tent, you enter into the wild of Africa, exposed to the varying habitats and free-roaming wildlife.
The safari tents were designed to blend in with the natural surroundings. The purpose of any stay in the bush is to observe the natural lifestyle of the active ecosystems and not to disrupt wildlife activity. Kuro Tarangire has an exclusive amount of six light safari tents on offer, each with an en-suite bucket shower - a refreshing break from the usual way of bathing.
Activities at Kuro Tarangire are all centred around the abundance of wildlife in the area. Located in an ideal location to view the various animal species, bird and plant life, game drives and walks hold your interest from the start.
