Shifting its location within the Serengeti three times a year according to the movement of millions of wildebeest, Kichakani Camp experiences the Great Migration as it occurs.
The start of this phenomenon is between January and March each year, as the calving season sees the birth of wildebeest and zebra calves. The search for food and water then starts, resulting in the mass movement of a collective amount of over 2 million wildebeest, zebra, Thomson's gazelle and eland.
Accommodation at this migration camp is a traditional camping experience created by luxury tented suites, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Meals during this Serengeti safari in Tanzania are served either at the camp or in a remote bush spot during a game viewing activity.
