Lemala Nanyukie Lodge
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

Bring your loved one, friends and family with you to Lemala Nanyukie, a luxurious and chic tented Serengeti safari lodge located in the Serengetti’s wilderness-rich eastern region.

Why We Love it and You Will Too

  • The Lemala service is second to none. The staff are warm, welcoming and helpful, always taking the time to attend to your needs.

  • The tent-style accommodation is ultra-luxurious and private. Expect a generously sized seating area, large bedroom and bathroom as well as floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening out onto a private terrace.

  • Enjoy panoramic views of the annual wildebeest migration (April to June, and November to January), as well as scores of other game species.

  • Lemala Nanyukie is open all year and safari activities such as game drives, walks and balloon safaris are well organised and led by experienced guides.

  • The quality of cuisine at Lemala Nanyukie is out of this world, making mealtimes an event to look forward to. The settings are superb too, from lantern-lit dinners, to bush picnics and campfire sundowners.

Your Serengeti Safari Experience

If you’ve been looking for that perfect luxury safari accommodation in the Serengetti, look no further than Lemala Nanyukie.

As one of the newer camps in the Lemala brand, Nanyukie upholds the same high standards with its top-notch service and facilities, while making the central area of this iconic reserve even more accessible to avid Serengeti safari-goers. The location is out of this word, nestled among the vast wilderness plains offering a front-row seat to the annual Great Migration.

A 45-minute drive from the Seronera Airstrip will lead you straight to it, atop a grassy savannah with rocky hills or ‘kopjes’ adding to the privacy of each tent.  Although we describe this Serengeti safari accommodation as such, these are not simply just ‘tents’ in the traditional sense, this is luxury and comfort on a whole new level incorporating cathedral-like ceilings, wide hardwood decks, and contemporary décor in a neutral palette with subtle splashes of whites and blues.

The main area of the camp features an inviting lounge and bar area offering plenty of inside and outside seating.  Snuggle in next to the fireplace before dinner with your favourite drink served just as you like it. The outdoor viewing deck leads out to the main swimming pool, while just beyond, a separate tent forms the locale of the private spa.

When not relaxing at camp, private game viewing on 4x4 drives led by expert guides is the order of the day. Bush walks and hot air balloon safaris can also be arranged. The area is well-known for its large cats and a healthy variety of game due to the nearby rivers crossed during the migration in April and June, and again between November and January. This thrilling spectacle is not to be missed!
