There is much to do on this 10 day Wild Namibia, Kaokoland & Damaraland Safari. From admiring stunning scenery to spotting the desert adapted animals such as the Elephants, Springbok and much more. Another highlight on this safari is going on a mountain hike to see the White Lady Bushman painting.
The group will depart from Windhoek in the morning and head north via Otjiwarongo to the Kamanjab area. This can also be done whereby a self-drive group drops off their vehicle (Okaukuejo or similar) and the guide meets the group in Etosha or a pre-arranged place.
Guided & self-drive: Overnight at Otjitotongwe Lodge. Otjitotongwe Lodge and Cheetah Park is only some 24 kilometers outside Kamanjab and is home to the Save the Cheetah project in this area. Breakfast and Dinner is included.
Head north today to the Kunene River, the Ruacana Falls and then along the river to Kunene River Lodge. The first section of the road is not very interesting but as one approaches, the Kunene River, there are many rural villages where the local people tend their cattle and goat herds.
