Activities at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge

A Tanzania safari vacation package at Serengeti Serena Lodge offers quality facilities for families, wedding and honeymoon guests as well as conference delegates.

Guests can relax at the infinity edge pool and take time out in the wellness and beauty centre on a Tanzania safari vacation package at Serengeti Serena Lodge. Wonderful cultural displays of Maasai music and dance are also part of the experience.

Conferences, Meetings and Incentives

Few venues can deliver the impact of the Serengeti Conference Centre with its interlinked conference areas, private bars, scenic terraces and exclusive dining options. The Centre is fully furnished and equipped, offering audio-visual equipment, secretarial services, photo-copying, Wi-Fi and a full range of global communications.

Satellite events can also be staged around the beautiful vanishing horizon pool or in the lodge's exclusive hilltop bush camp - overlooking the annual migration of the wildebeest.

Weddings and Honeymoons

The events team at Serengeti Serena Lodge has extensive experience in planning and staging a wide variety of weddings and receptions. All the necessary formalities can be taken care of.

Various accommodation options are available for family and friends, honeymooners and the Bridal Couple on a Tanzania safari vacation package. Arrangements can include a traditional Maasai wedding with local chief, dancers and choir as well as a range of settings for both elegant receptions and intimate bush dinners.

Ornithology

Tanzania offers more than 1000 species of birds, half of which can be seen in the Serengeti. Whether it is for amateur or serious bird watchers, Serengeti Serena Lodge offers a range of half and full day outings which can be customised. The services of a professional ornithologist and up-to-date bird checklists are included.

Most commonly spotted birds are the Masai Ostrich, Kori Bustard and, on the lakes, the lesser Flamingo. Endemic birds include Fischer's Lovebird, the Rufous-Tailed Weaver and the Grey-Breasted Spurfowl. Migrant species occur between October and April and include White Storks, Rollers, Cuckoos, Swallows, Montague's, Pallid Harriers and Caspian Plovers.
